Georgia Sideris and Taylor Clara talk about their journeys with Borderline Personality Disorder and how they’ve unlocked deeply artistic parts of themselves through their experiences. This documentary explores the theme of the creativity that lies behind the pre perceived darkness of Borderline Personality Disorder.

GEORGIA SIDERIS

Georgia Sideris, 21, is an extremely creative and bold young woman. She is currently a Digital Marketing Specialist at Smile Digital Health. Georgia has an abundance of hobbies within the creative spectrum and is a highly talented artist. She practices the arts of painting, drawing, and writing poetry. Regardless of her mental health diagnoses, she has excelled in artistic endeavors and her education and career. She graduated from Humber Colleges Marketing Advertising in 2021 and continues to thrive in working towards her life goals. She is goal-oriented with a beautiful soul.

TAYLOR CLARA

Taylor Clara, 23, is a beautifully artistic and intuitive young woman. She is deeply loving and kind and she truly cares about the people around her. She is magnificently self-expressive and pointedly expresses herself through enticing and creative makeup. She also takes up the practices of drawing and painting. She thrives in nature and feels a deep connection to it. She is timid at first but once you get to know her she has a loud and charming personality. She is perseverant and has a beautiful mind.

MEET THE CREW

STEPHANIE MILLAR - Director

Stephanie Millar is a talented film director who has directed four projects so far. Her passion for film and her fiery yet open-minded personality is evident in her work. Stephanie studied film studies at Wilfrid Laurier University for two years before pursuing further education in the Film and Television Production Program at Humber College. She developed a love for film during her time at an arts high school and has been pursuing her passion ever since. Stephanie is a creative, passionate, communicative and easy-to-work-with director who truly feels in her element when directing.

KALEB CARMICHAEL - Producer

Kaleb Carmichael is an ambitious and dedicated second-year film student at Humber College, whose passion for visual storytelling has been apparent since his formative years. During high school, Kaleb created a number of short films independently and in collaboration with his peers. In addition to his academic pursuits, Kaleb continues to engage in independent filmmaking ventures in his spare time. Most notably, Kaleb has recently produced a compelling short documentary entitled "Beauty Behind The Madness", which delves into the lives of artists struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder. This project serves as a testament to Kaleb's talent for bringing stories to life, and his unwavering commitment to the film industry.

JONAH ARMITAGE - DOP

Jonah Armitage is an adept and enthusiastic second-year film student enrolled at Humber College in Toronto, Canada. Recently, he served as the director of photography for a documentary named "Beauty Behind The Madness," which sheds light on the challenges that artists diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder confront. With his expertise as a cinematographer, Jonah skillfully depicted the grace and resilience of the individuals featured in the film. During his leisure time, Jonah delights in analyzing films and soundtracks while also partaking in discussions on the same. Furthermore, he is an active participant in Humber's film community and committed to helping narrate visually engaging and meaningful stories.

GENVIEVE ROY-GRIFFIN - Editor, Music Composer, and Second Camera

Geneviève Roy-Griffin is a second-year film student at Humber College. She is a talented storyteller with a strong interest in exploring contemporary social issues. Her recent work includes a short documentary, "Beauty Behind The Madness," which focuses on artists with Borderline Personality Disorder. Geneviève is also the writer for the upcoming Humber production, "I Don't Like Gardening." Additionally, she composed the score for her documentary, bringing her story to life.

DAIJA BEST - Sound Recordist and Mixer

Daija Best is a second-year film student at Humber College, who recently completed the audio work for a short documentary, "Beauty Behind The Madness." Her passion for film, dedication to capturing intimate stories, and eagerness to take on new projects makes her a unique asset to the industry. Daija is a great addition to any crew as she is an eager and mivated crew member who remains positive and brings joy to any production.
